As always, it’s the high pitched aromatics that speak of the site. Delicate white spring flowers, lemongrass, citrus rind and esters of golden stonefruit paired with a steely sulfide component, and a hint of fresh whey on the nose. Elegant and generous. Balanced. Beautiful.

There’s always a compelling juxtaposition in this wine, between its depth and the liveliness of the natural acids. Grilled Meyer lemons, fresh peeled green orchard fruit, with faint suggestions of crème and struck flint. A luxurious mouthfeel that at very first blush belies the verve of the natural acids. Beguiling. Classic. Lasting.

On the nose, crushed red rose petals, tealeaves, and vaulted fruit tones of fresh red raspberry and pomegranate. Middle full in the mouth, speaking of primary fruit with an impeccable, vibrant acidity and a lasting ethereal finish.
